COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in the centuries old tradition of German beers, our brewers use more wheat and proprietary yeast to give it the unmistakable character of a flavorful, authentic Hefeweizen. The High proportion of wheat gives In Heat its smooth, full-mouth feel and our special yeast gives it its unique fruity and spicy aroma.

(bottle conditioned)Lemony citrus aroma with soft wheat & hint of clove. Orange, hazy body. Smooth wheat dominates the flavor with zesty citrus, phenols, and an odd puckering lactic twang at the end. Medium body has a watery quality. Interesting.

tap-one of the most bland wheat beers i have had-little in all departments of aroma, flavor and palate. very thin and not much banana/clove flavor. boring

poured a cloudy golden color with a light head. Had a smooth malty flavour with a lemony finish. very refreshing on a hot summer day.

Poured a deep yellow with fizzy head that disappeared quickly. Has a mild wheat flavor and aroma. Not bad but hard to compare this to the mother of all wheats, New Glarus's Solstice.

This brew poured a cmall head of quickly disappearing fine white bubbles and a hightly carbonated light yellow transparent body. very mild malt fruity aroma with a slightly fizzy initial mouthfeel that lingers for a while then ends in a mild hop flavor. It flavor is mildly hopped ywith notes of fruit bread and malt. Not a typical Hefe IMHO.

Murky yellow-orange color, no head and no carbonation. Smells and tastes of pear. No hop or malt flavors to speak of. Very, very smooth; this goes down like pasteurized fruit juice.

Mine seemed to have a respectable amount of head, but I didnt take too much time pouring this one and it was very thin once it got there. Hazey golden color with a considerable malty nose, somewhat sweet, but more towards the hearty side. Taste is a little thin after the inital mouth feel but ends with a decent bite from the the hops. Not really any amazing quality on this one. However, it is a respectable beer.

A hefe should have a good head, this doesn't. Pale golden color, malty almost a corn whisley aroma. A little sweet, no real citrus taste. Aftertaste is harsh and bitter. Where's the wheat? This beer seems to be more like an American wheat version, not a very good one per se.

Virtually no head, no sediment, some citrus aroma, I couldn't find the bananas. It was very nice on a hot day in Ohio, but nothing special.

The colour is almost bright orange with a very thin off-white head. The smell was really nothing special, just an average malt smell. The taste was acceptable, a bit of the wheatie characteristics, but not too many of them, it was medium-bodied which was nice. The beer's flavour didn't last too long, but it was a decent all-around beer. I had this on tap at MacGregor's in Rochester, New York.
