thehoff (567), Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA Mar 11, 2009 PPWD Show. I asked at the show if this was more of a hefeweizen or a Belgian white and was told to try it out for myself. The gentleman didn’t know. I thought that it tasted closer to a Belgian White but I see here that it is a German style. Not bad flavor but I would rather go with a Hacker Pschorr. Rustyham (545), miami, Florida, USA Mar 8, 2009 Extremely active bubbles are a plus, but the lack of cloudiness makes me skeptical of the hefeweizen-ness of this beer. Apart from that, it has a sweet banana taste, but it does not seem natural. A little bready, but not too wheaty. As if they focused on the wrong parts of making a good hefe. War4soccer (115), , Nevada, USA Mar 8, 2009 bottle..yellow with clouds small head..spices and wheat in the main flavour..not to bad fromred2green (140), , Ohio, USA Mar 7, 2009 Bottle. Pours a cloudy dark yellow with a small head. Aroma is of wheat and spice. Flavor is mostly spices, maybe some clove. Not too bad, but after having the other 5 in the mix pack, im a little disappointed. Defreni (994), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 7, 2009 Flaske. Orange uklar øl med et lille skumhoved. Mangler en smule karbonering for at være en rigtig god Hefe. Den bliver en tand for sød i længden når friskheden ikke er der. Banan smagen og alle de klassiske dyder er der ellers. Cavie (1317), Fort Worth, Texas, USA Mar 4, 2009 Pretty standard hefe. Aroma, appearance, taste is all what you would expect. hawkshadow (102), Rural Retreat, Virginia, USA Feb 28, 2009 Do you except wheat beer to be any better? It is good for what it is. When I need a hefeweizen that is good old USA made, this one suits me just fine! NaturalIce (115), originally from Michigan, New York, USA Feb 25, 2009 12 oz bottle; Pours out a very light gold with little to no head. Aroma of fruits with not a lot of spice. This doesn’t taste like a wheat beer to me; it has a banana nut and tangy flavor to it. The finish is sweet and fruity. Decent beer.
