Burch (8), United States Virgin Islands does not count Feb 23, 2009 Definitely not like any other wheat beer I’ve had. Very interesting flavor. Pours yellowish with a weak head. Strong banana peach pear flavor. Pretty good will be drinking again for sure. topherh (892), Kearney, Missouri, USA Feb 19, 2009 Pours cloudy yellow. Typical banana and clove hefe aroma. Flavor is much the same with a little wheaty tartness. Borup (1345), Albertslund, Denmark Feb 19, 2009 Bottle. Uclear orange colour with a small white head. Aroma and flavour of wheat, banana, yeast, hops and spice. JaBier (1130), Capital City, Ohio, USA Feb 14, 2009 Sampled at the Flying Dog tasting at Blacklick Wine and Spirits on 2.12.09. Cloudy gold copper pour with a medium white head. Aroma of yeast, spice, hop and something I can only describe as ass. Overly yeasty with a malt and sugar influence. Not a big fan of Weizens to begin with, and this one is certainly not swaying me. MaltDawg (778), Richmond, Virginia, USA Feb 13, 2009 (Sample Date: 1/13/2009 Source:Capital Ale House - Downtown) Grainy spicy nose. Cloudy light yellow golden. Very light peach pear fruitiness along with grainy wheat flavor. Actually has a rather nice Belgian character. Very light body. Finish is relatively dry and spicy. lindsey7638 (18), , Maryland, USA Feb 13, 2009 Not a big fan of wheat beers but this beer was definitely better than Blue Moon. Strong banana and clove taste. CptGreencoat (68), Kettering, Ohio, USA Feb 12, 2009 Pours to a super cloudy yellow-focused-orange. One finger white head that quickly dissipates, decent lacing. This tastes exactly like a German Hefe. It’s not bad, but by no means is it outstanding. There is no reason to purchase this beer, unless you’re giving someone a generic example of a style. dwaggs2 (534), Lee’s Summit, Missouri, USA Feb 12, 2009 Bottle. Pours a yellow color. Very hazy. Classic german wheat beer. Decent but probably wouldn’t get it again.
