DrDavid (957), Johnson, Vermont, USA Dec 18, 2008 Bottle. Tart citrus aroma. Cloudy yellow-orange body, small disappearing white head. Flavor is lemon and banana. Typical but uninspiring hefewiezen. elihapa (1033), Honolulu, California, USA Dec 17, 2008 Bottle from sampler. Pours a clear gold with a small white head. Aroma is of grass, yeast, and soda cracker. Flavor has classic german pilsner flavor, a sort of dry mixture of bread, grass and yeast. Overall, I was impressed that Flying Dog was able to deviate from its usual mixture of floral hoppiness. However, they did not fail to achieve any texture in the body, leading to an overly-clean drinking brew. FatPhil (3443), Espoo, Finland Dec 15, 2008 Key - - EBF2008, Copenhagen
Pale hazy yellow, tiny head. Sweet banana aroma. Sharp carbonation. Not quite up to german standards, but pretty refreshing, sweet and fruity. JensenTaster (1585), Denmark Dec 9, 2008 (on bottle) pale yellow, white head. Very subtle bananna/orangepeel- aroma. Fat mouthfeel, slightly oily. Watery and weak taste of popcorn and fresh corn. Finishes of with a whiped cream touch to it. gunnfryd (3539), Kristiansand, Norway Dec 8, 2008 Golden - orange colour with a white head. Aroma is weak wheat, orange, citrus, malt. Flavour is weak, wheat, malt, orange, citrus. OK beer, but could need more body. bluevegie (2169), Perth, Australia Dec 7, 2008 Looked pretty lifeless in the glass, nose of cloves and then yeast. Taste didnt do anything for me, citrus, a bit tart, some might find this refreshing but it didnt turn me on. hirigalzkar (550), Stockholm, Sweden Dec 6, 2008 Bottle. Hazy. Yellow colour. Small head.
