Commercial Description:
Brewed in the centuries old tradition of German beers, our brewers use more wheat and proprietary yeast to give it the unmistakable character of a flavorful, authentic Hefeweizen. The High proportion of wheat gives In Heat its smooth, full-mouth feel and our special yeast gives it its unique fruity and spicy aroma.

Draught at EBF 2008. Hazy golden colour with a small white head. Rich aroma and taste of yeast, banana and fruits. Short finish. (served too cold)

I found this to consist of all the tell-tale signs of a great hefe. Not my favorite style but, on a hot summer day this one hits the spot.

Rating #10from the european beer festival 2008. It has a light peachy color with a remarkable small head for a hefe. Lots of banana and yenka bubble gum in the aroma. Sweet, wheaty and sugery flavor.

Pours cloudy yellow, large head. Decent aroma, nothing special compared to the Bavarian brews. Taste is much the same, solid but nothing special. That’s the story of this beer -- Solid, but nothing special, especially when compared to Bavarian hefeweizens.

Bottle.Cloudy orange/yellow pour. Smells of banana, clove, hay. Tastes of yeast and grass, with an oily citrus finish . Sorry this was just not for me.

Aroma is a sweet banana scent with a little spice in the back. Color is a hazy golden with very light carbonation and no head. Taste is sweet and citrusy. Starting with a medium body it goes down smooth. Finish comes in with a sweet banana taste then a little citrus and spiciness. After taste is more citrus and spice with just a hint of bitterness showing. Its not the best but it does have some good flavor.

Pours orange light with white head and few sediments. Aroma had notes of grains and yeast. Taste was light caramely malts, light fruity mouthfeel (sweet as banana/vanilla), light hops but still very smooth.

Cloudy orange with sediment. Aroma seemed classically clove and banana, but a lethery yeastiness developed. Taste had some pleasant sweet wheat, or even oats, but the metallic carbonation rather overpowered it. A nod towards the style rather than a faithful copy. It was fair but not memorable.
