Commercial Description:
Brewed in the centuries old tradition of German beers, our brewers use more wheat and proprietary yeast to give it the unmistakable character of a flavorful, authentic Hefeweizen. The High proportion of wheat gives In Heat its smooth, full-mouth feel and our special yeast gives it its unique fruity and spicy aroma.

Pours to orange/gold body that is quite cloudy. Aroma and taste has hints of citrus. Very similar to a wit in many respects. Probably the best Flying Dog I have had. Pleasant suprise.

Bottle - Cloudy orange appearance. Big white head. Strong aroma of banana and spices. Based on the appearance and aroma this beer started strong, unfortunately the taste doesn’t hold up. It is very smooth and extrememly drinkable, but the flavor was kind of watery and the yeast overpowered the bananas, orange and spices. I agree with everyone else who’s made the comment about this one not being balanced properly.

Had this one at the Classic Brew in C.C. Tx. Pours a hazy light golden color. A big head. Had a pretty nice flavor and aroma, kinda like light fruitiness. Real bubbly and smooth on the palate.

Bottle. Cloudy golden beer with a strong head. The aroma is banana like and yeasty, and the flavour is yeasty, banana and lightly dry. Overall a nice beer.

Bottled. Cloudy and yellow in color. Aromas of wheat and yeast. Taste was not as strong as the smell. Medium bodied. Not the best, but not horrible.

Smell is of toasted wheat , bananas, and clove. It Pored with a very weak head and no lacing. The taste of cloves pretty much overpowers everything else. Overall not my favorite beer these guys make.

Cloudy orange with an ugly looking head that quickly disapears without even one bubble of Co2 releasing. Tart citrisy taste, I almost thought I was drinking a glass of orange/lemonade. This beer needs some major improvements. I’m not sure why the ratings are so high. This example would get laughed out of the room next to a real German Hefe.

Cloudy golden colour with a white head. Wheaty sweet aroma with fruity and light yeasty notes. Wheaty sweet flavor with notes of banana.
