subcell (95), Portsmouth, Virginia, USA Jun 28, 2008 I can honestly say that this was not a horable weisse. It pored slightly cloudy and smelled hopped. The taste was crisp but it is an American Wheat not a German. I thought it was okay but will not buy again. Surly (19), Michigan, USA Jun 28, 2008 Pours a hazy orange, moderately carborated with one finger pure white head. Quite strong citrus and wheat taste up front, followed by some nice bitterness. A well rounded and flavorful Hefe. djd07 (721), Houston, Texas, USA Jun 27, 2008 Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow golden color with a small frothy white head. The aroma is a strong clove and banana. Pours a cloudy yellow with fizzy white head. Aroma of bannanas and slight citris. Flavor is much the same with light wheat malt tast. Palate is somewhat watery with med-high carbonation....overall, this is a good summer beer.... ogglethorp (882), Ohio, USA Jun 21, 2008 ON tap. Pours coudy straw color with a small white head. Aroma is citrus, light grains. Flavor is citrus, wheat, orange notes, earthy hops. Palate is medium to light bodied, meidum carbonation, finished light and refreshing, decent. BigBeer45 (676), Troy, Michigan, USA Jun 20, 2008 Has a cloudy orange pour with white bubbles that thins, generous amount of sediment at the bottom of the bottle, has aroma of wheat, fruit and banana, taste of wheat with touches of orange –lemon citrus, sediment gives a bready flavor to this beer, has a citrus bite to it, medium mouth feel, not a bad Hefe-weizen at all, surprised the rating is not a little higher.
