Commercial Description:
Brewed in the centuries old tradition of German beers, our brewers use more wheat and proprietary yeast to give it the unmistakable character of a flavorful, authentic Hefeweizen. The High proportion of wheat gives In Heat its smooth, full-mouth feel and our special yeast gives it its unique fruity and spicy aroma.

Cloudy gold with good, creamy white head / Floral banana, citrus and wheat nose / Light to medium body, a touch watery, with creamy wheats and slight bitter bite on the smooth, fair finish / Flavors of banana, orange, clove, and coriander / A weak body keeps this one from being excellent.

Average wheat beer. A bit watery and no flavor depth. Seemed too sour and just lacked a good wheaty punch.

Bottle@Home. Interesting aroma with hints of lemon, banana and pepper. Cloudy, yellow color, off-white head, good lace. Very sweet, banana, light bitter, hints of cookie dough. Quite full and a little sticky. Pleasant but not complex or exceptional.

Bottle from Harris Teeter Charlottesville (sampler). Orange haze with no head. Aroma of bubblegum. Taste is a little yeast, a lot of bubblegum, some wheat. Forgettable but not too terribly offensive.

Where is the heat and/ or wheat? No head . Looks like a beer knock off. I don’t care whether "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" likes this or not. Cloudy Orange appearance, with a clear, orange taste. . Gatorade gone wild?
