Commercial Description:
Brewed in the centuries old tradition of German beers, our brewers use more wheat and proprietary yeast to give it the unmistakable character of a flavorful, authentic Hefeweizen. The High proportion of wheat gives In Heat its smooth, full-mouth feel and our special yeast gives it its unique fruity and spicy aroma.

Pours a cloudy honey with very little head. Just a bit of white lacing. Aroma is wheat and citrus fruits. Flavor is quite yeasty with undertones of citrus mixed with apple. Body is light with fair carbonation. Would be a decent go to Hefe.

Bottle. Aroma has citrus and yeast. Tastes slightly fruity but very refreshing. Exactly what I would expect out of a hefeweizen.

(cleaning out my beer bottle collection as pictured in my profile and utilizing ratebeer.com) As I recall, this was an average wheat with tones of sweet fruit and spice. Not my favorite hefeweizen.

Bottle, bought as In Heat Hefe Weizen. Banana and pineapple in the aroma. Hint of clove. Thin, slightly spicy flavor with banana and tangerine. Reliable hefeweizen

Bottled. Aroma has banana wheats and some citrus. Cloudy, yellow coloured with a lasting, off-white head. Taste is sweet with banana wheats and yeast. Little bitterness in it. Refreshing with a light body.

Bottled. Pours out in a hazy golden colour with a small creamy white foam. Mild banana esters in the aroma with notes of cloves and straw. Light-bodied with flavours of over-riped banana with hints of cloves and grass. Low bitterness. Short finish of sweet banana and red plums.

Just OK. I wouldn’t buy it again with the other choices out there though. I am looking forward to trying the Horn Dog flavor I have in the fridge

Overall, an okay beer. Not great, but drinkable. What I don’t like about it is the slightly off taste, like it’s old, or been exposed to heat. Not really skunky, just old. Maybe I just had a bad sixer, I don’t know, but it tasted metalic.
