Commercial Description:
Brewed in the centuries old tradition of German beers, our brewers use more wheat and proprietary yeast to give it the unmistakable character of a flavorful, authentic Hefeweizen. The High proportion of wheat gives In Heat its smooth, full-mouth feel and our special yeast gives it its unique fruity and spicy aroma.

Bottled. 120A08. Beer is cloudy, medium-orange-gold colored. Head is initially large, white, frothy. Diminishes quickly and almost totally.
The aroma is malty with moderate notes of powdery smelling, cereal and toasted grain; Hoppy with a light note of lemon zest; Yeasty with a moderate note of banana/clove, light note of stucky bread dough; Trace of orange zest and corinader
The flavor is lightly sweet, moderately acidic/dry/juicy, lightly bitter with a moderately long, lightly acidic, trace bitter finish. Metallic aftertaste. Squeaky spice-particle residue on the roof of the mouth.
The body is light, the texture is watery and the carbonation is lively.
This style is about lean, little gems, this sample is like a dirty coin.

Sample @ Hallandale beer fest (bottle). Clean hefe smells. Sweet yeasty flavors in tandem with Bavarian incarnations. Looks good too, a pretty good American execution.

In-Heat Wheat is a very mild Hefeweizen. While the aroma is a pronounced banana, the body is a little weak. I enjoy this beer for what it is, but want more body in my Wheat beers.

Little head, familiar clove, spices and grain aroma leads off this wheat beer. Color is slightly muddy golden. Flavor is weak to start but has a flavorful finish with medium carbination.

Not bad, but definitely need to be in the mood to taste a lot of wheat. Rich and thick for a wheat beer.

Ah... that stinky wheat beer aroma I love so much. Sweet smell of sour grain and fruit with a bit of hops. Unique flavor, very sweet and fruity just like it smells. Its not bad but its no weizen.

Aroma of banana, honey, clove, cinnamon and some other spices along with some hay. Pour yields an average sized, frothy white head that goes away pretty quickly. Color is a light, muddy, golden hue. Flavor is nice, and very sweet up front. Finish is spicy and ever so slightly sour. Long duration. Mouthfeel is watery with lively carbonation. Pretty decent Hefe.
