Mar 26, 2008 I always taste the beer first, make up my mind and then come here to look at the reviews. I was a bit surprised with this one. I really enjoyed this beer. It looked good, smelled good and it was really refreshing. I would certainly buy it again. I’m a big fan of German hefes and this one, while not up to par with the big G, is really tasty. You should give it a try.

Mar 24, 2008 Pretty good hefeweizen. Good spicy finish. Great in mouth taste. I would probably buy again. Props to any company that has a beer named "In Heat" and "Horn Dog"

Mar 17, 2008 Bottle (35 cl), shared with gnoff[ at Haket, Göteborg, Sweden. Hazy golden, medium white head. Classic german wheat ale with clove, banana, and yeast. Nice mouthfeel and balance.

Mar 17, 2008 Bottle. Pours unclear yellow/orange with a white head. Aroma is banana, apple, nutmeg and clove. Medium body. Flavor is fruity, spicy and wheaty with notes of banana, clove and even some citrus. Nice, very refreshing.

Shady orange color, whiet head. Phenolic, spicy, banana and yeasty scent. Banana, metallic, sweet malty taste. Spritzy mouthfeel, low bitterness. Had a wiff of cloudberry all of a sudden.

Feb 25, 2008 Bottled. 120A08. Beer is cloudy, medium-orange-gold colored. Head is initially large, white, frothy. Diminishes quickly and almost totally.<P>The aroma is malty with moderate notes of powdery smelling, cereal and toasted grain; Hoppy with a light note of lemon zest; Yeasty with a moderate note of banana/clove, light note of stucky bread dough; Trace of orange zest and corinader <P>The flavor is lightly sweet, moderately acidic/dry/juicy, lightly bitter with a moderately long, lightly acidic, trace bitter finish. Metallic aftertaste. Squeaky spice-particle residue on the roof of the mouth.<P>The body is light, the texture is watery and the carbonation is lively.
<P>This style is about lean, little gems, this sample is like a dirty coin.

Feb 25, 2008 Sample @ Hallandale beer fest (bottle). Clean hefe smells. Sweet yeasty flavors in tandem with Bavarian incarnations. Looks good too, a pretty good American execution.
