Allthatisevil (48), alabaster, Alabama, USA Oct 23, 2007 Honestly I just don’t like this beer! It’s one of those no real reason types it just does not do it for me. nd1748 (40), dundalk, Maryland, USA Oct 21, 2007 Updated: Oct 25, 2007pale, golden, hazy, white foam, hay, grass, barnyard, 12oz bottle over all i liked it dlovell2 (136), Columbia, Maryland, USA Oct 21, 2007 Golden color with large foamy head. Fruity aroma. Sweet malty taste. Probably one of the better Hefeweizen beers I’ve had since it didn’t taste like banannas.
WallyWalrus (205), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA Oct 20, 2007 12oz bottle. Pours a hazy pale amber with a thin head and little carbonation. Aroma is fruity with scents of banana, hoppy citrus, and some spices along with earthier hints of malt and yeast. Aroma is surprisingly full and malty with a taste of banana, malt, and spice giving way to a long fruity finish. Too sweet of a hefe for my taste, but the full body still makes for a pleasant brew. Acknud (770), Morganfield, Kentucky, USA Oct 18, 2007 Fairly middle of the road. Murky golden pour. aroma of malt and bananas. Sweet taste with no bitterness. Gethinbeer (993), Nova Scotia, Canada Oct 17, 2007 Bottle. Metallic aroma, sharp lemon citrus. Cloudy appearance. High carbonation, decent frothy white head. Jeez, extremely high in carbonation. Did it just shoot to my brain? Second gulp. Better but still very gassy. Sweet ale. Tangy but with not much flavour. I found this beer weak and thin. Its like a chameleon, changes as you drink it. Much better once its settled down. AleDrinker (1090), Sunnyvale, California, USA Oct 15, 2007 Pretty standard hef here. Some banana and clove flavors but not a whole lot. Flavor is dry. Goes down easy. Bcoble003 (100), Dalton, Ohio, USA Oct 13, 2007 smell of greatness. the taste is well also mmm not to shabby in a way i taste a lil beans and weiners... I always taste a little bit of that in hefe’s.
