Commercial Description:
Brewed in the centuries old tradition of German beers, our brewers use more wheat and proprietary yeast to give it the unmistakable character of a flavorful, authentic Hefeweizen. The High proportion of wheat gives In Heat its smooth, full-mouth feel and our special yeast gives it its unique fruity and spicy aroma.

Golden color with large foamy head. Fruity aroma. Sweet malty taste. Probably one of the better Hefeweizen beers I’ve had since it didn’t taste like banannas.

12oz bottle. Pours a hazy pale amber with a thin head and little carbonation. Aroma is fruity with scents of banana, hoppy citrus, and some spices along with earthier hints of malt and yeast. Aroma is surprisingly full and malty with a taste of banana, malt, and spice giving way to a long fruity finish. Too sweet of a hefe for my taste, but the full body still makes for a pleasant brew.

Bottle. Metallic aroma, sharp lemon citrus. Cloudy appearance. High carbonation, decent frothy white head. Jeez, extremely high in carbonation. Did it just shoot to my brain? Second gulp. Better but still very gassy. Sweet ale. Tangy but with not much flavour. I found this beer weak and thin. Its like a chameleon, changes as you drink it. Much better once its settled down.

Pretty standard hef here. Some banana and clove flavors but not a whole lot. Flavor is dry. Goes down easy.
