| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 20, 2007 12oz bottle. Pours a hazy pale amber with a thin head and little carbonation. Aroma is fruity with scents of banana, hoppy citrus, and some spices along with earthier hints of malt and yeast. Aroma is surprisingly full and malty with a taste of banana, malt, and spice giving way to a long fruity finish. Too sweet of a hefe for my taste, but the full body still makes for a pleasant brew. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 18, 2007 Fairly middle of the road. Murky golden pour. aroma of malt and bananas. Sweet taste with no bitterness. Gethinbeer (1001), Nova Scotia, Canada
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 17, 2007 Bottle. Metallic aroma, sharp lemon citrus. Cloudy appearance. High carbonation, decent frothy white head. Jeez, extremely high in carbonation. Did it just shoot to my brain? Second gulp. Better but still very gassy. Sweet ale. Tangy but with not much flavour. I found this beer weak and thin. Its like a chameleon, changes as you drink it. Much better once its settled down. AleDrinker (1090), Sunnyvale, California, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 7, 2007 12 oz bottle purchased at Holiday Wine Cellar. You got to admit, the bottle label is hilarious, but if not at least it made me laugh. Anyways, the hefe poured as a gloomy and vibrant glowing whitish yellow and was topped by a fat pillow of dissipating foam. The aroma had a pleasant scent of yeast accustomed to German hefeweizen’s with the notice of strong banana, clove and light herbal spices but it also had a soapy nose that made reminded me this was an American made hefe. In the flavor, I find a big spice profile that is unique and adds a firm backbone of personality to this brew. The flavor just completely shocked me since I wasn’t expecting such bold and distinguished yeast/ spice flavor and the well paired wheat flavor, but that’s indeed what I found. The only complaint I have, is that this beer wasn’t made available to me during the hot dreaded summer days instead of the cool temperatures of autumn.
