sneezey (110), Hackettstown, New Jersey, USA Sep 15, 2007 Super cloudy dull yellow-orange color. Heaping amounts of yeast gathered from the bottle of the bottle - typical wheat style funky coriander spice but lighter on the lemon/citrus that balances it out. Light on the hops but heavy on the unused yeast. Wheat beers are supposed to be pulled early, but probably just a bit too early. Otherwise not at all bad. KingMoomie (4), Poland, Ohio, USA does not count Sep 12, 2007 I like wheat beers. I did not like this wheat beer. It is now serving as my example when I make a joke about how bad some beers are. RiverHorse (454), New Jersey, USA Sep 11, 2007 Pours a murky orange into the wiezen glass with a small white head. The scent was gummy with wheat and some hops. The flavor was a little flat and funky at the same time. Wasn’t overyly impressed. Hammster (187), Eagan, Minnesota, USA Sep 10, 2007 Bottle. After slightly stirring the bottle, there was a surprisingly large amount of sediment. The beer poured very nice with a lasting head and nice blonde color. Very pleasant aroma of citrus (orange) and yeast. The taste didn’t match the flavor. Sadly this reminded me of Blue Moon. The palate was above average and the finish was light. This is a refreshing beer but not a spectacular hefeweizen. It lacks complexity in the taste. Drinkable but I’d prefer other hefeweizens. JamesD (192), Centreville, Virginia, USA Sep 10, 2007 A very good, and inexpensive hefeweizen. The flavor and aroma are very, very fruity. I really like it, some might not. Give this a try if you’re a fan of hefeweizens. edden (927), cow- lumbus, Ohio, USA Sep 8, 2007 9/8/07: Bottle. Yellow bodied with no head or lace. Nose of wheat, pepper and clove. Flavors of yeast and bread dough, with a touch of lemon peal. Finish has a wheat bite. nihar (68), Ohio, USA Sep 6, 2007 On tap at Oakroom, nice aroma of spices with a hint of malts.. taste is bitter and texture is smooth.. good finish kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 05/31/2002
