Commercial Description:
Brewed in the centuries old tradition of German beers, our brewers use more wheat and proprietary yeast to give it the unmistakable character of a flavorful, authentic Hefeweizen. The High proportion of wheat gives In Heat its smooth, full-mouth feel and our special yeast gives it its unique fruity and spicy aroma.

Refreshing, but kind of watery for a Hefe. No complexity what-so-ever. Straight forward. Not bad but def. not great.

Smells like juicy fruit gum. Colored like straw with almost no head. Surprisingly clear for a hefe. Tastes like juciy fruit with grass and alcohol. Not bad at all actually. One of the better hefes ive had. And I don’t like hefes.

In the bottle from beertopia. Pours a dirty dishwater brownish murky gold color with a poorly developed head. Mild banana aroma. Tastes somewhat like a German hefe, but seems to have too much of a medicinal off-flavor. Palate is a bit fizzy and harsh, but the flavor does muster up some banana and bubble gum to blend with the wheat taste. Unusually quick and fleeting terminal mouthfeel.

Pours a weak cloudy yellow with a thin fizzy head. Aroma of yeast.thats pretty much it. Flavours are pretty standard for a wheat beer, but a little thin. Nothin real special about this beer, it doesn’t really stand out for anyreason. But its still pretty refreshing and drinkable.

Keg at kickball. Pours cloudy gold. Smells of banana, clove, and wet cardboard. Taste of yeasty lemon. Finishes quick.

The labels good! All the labels are. But the beer, this is my least favorite from the Flying Dog Kennel. Not in Heat Wheat! Drinkable and refreshing but not a classic.

POurs typical cloudy yellow with notes of banana and spice. This shows well on the palate and has a spicy finsih that shows the wheat.

Nice cloudy golden color, bready and strong banana esters. Very good job from Flying Dog.
