Commercial Description:
Brewed in the centuries old tradition of German beers, our brewers use more wheat and proprietary yeast to give it the unmistakable character of a flavorful, authentic Hefeweizen. The High proportion of wheat gives In Heat its smooth, full-mouth feel and our special yeast gives it its unique fruity and spicy aroma.

(bottle)into a pint. This beer is better than its current overall percentile of 36. I was suprised to see that. anyway... pours a cloudy golden with full fizzy head. aroma is of lemony/sweet wheat. flavor is sweet on the front, whith a wheaty middle to finish. has that lemony wheat aftertaste. you notice the carbonation on the palate. it is good but "spritzy". this is a hefeweizen, it looks like some prior raters did not take that into account. a good beer beeradvocate has it at 81, that is more accurate I think...

Poured a cloudy golden/pale color with a rather small white head that quickly shrank to a thin ring. The nose was of spicy clove, banana and lemon zest notes. The taste started yeasty and malty, but not all that well defined with malt, citrus, spice and hops with a hint of banana. Balance is still spot-on and complexity is good. The feel was light and thin. Overall, It’s it’s an average hefeweizens. Still, it isn’t a real dud and would work in a pinch as a refreshing brew on a hot summer day.

Yellow when poured. Honey and soft fruity flavor, certainly not overwhelming. Smooth mouthfeel. Very wheat-y, light, and best served well chilled. Will not hit you over the head with flavor, but one of my favorite drinks.

Poured from bottle. Cloudy golden color. Sweet aroma. I am kind of surprised by the bad ratings here, as I didnt think this was all that bad. It was actually quite drinkable to me...Tasted of citrus, bananas, honey and of course, wheat. I liked this one. To each his own, I suppose! Not the best hefe I have had, but certainly not horrible!

Cloudy Yellow. Citrusy hop aroma. Creamy wheat palate with a hint of plum flavor.
