Commercial Description:
Brewed in the centuries old tradition of German beers, our brewers use more wheat and proprietary yeast to give it the unmistakable character of a flavorful, authentic Hefeweizen. The High proportion of wheat gives In Heat its smooth, full-mouth feel and our special yeast gives it its unique fruity and spicy aroma.

12oz bottle. Cloudy dark yellow color with a large white head. Nose is light cloves with some lemony notes and hints of banana esters. Palate is a little thin and fizzy. Flavors are lightly peppery and lemonywith some nice yeasty notes to it.

Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a medium white head. Aroma and flavour of banana bread, yeast and cloves. It’s quite low in esters and rather thin bodied. It’d be refreshing on a warm summers day though.

For a wheat it is a bit light. Some yeasty wheat flavor with the citrus and some malt. A bit thin and simple.

Pour from 12oz bottle. Cloudy yellow brew with one finger of head. RIch, complex aroma with bitter grains and yeasty overtones. Somewhat bitter wheat flavor with nice, full mouthfeel. Not heavy but definately not a light flavor or bodied beer. Good.

(Draught at Ölbaren, Copenhagen, 22 May 2009) Cloudy yellow colour with brief, white head. Fruity, wheaty nose with white bread, banana and lemon. Slightly toasty? Malty, bready taste with notes of white bread, lemon, ripe banana and a sweet, wheaty finish. Decent and refreshing but hardly groundbreaking.
