Brewed in the centuries old tradition of German beers, our brewers use more wheat and proprietary yeast to give it the unmistakable character of a flavorful, authentic Hefeweizen. The High proportion of wheat gives In Heat its smooth, full-mouth feel and our special yeast gives it its unique fruity and spicy aroma.

Pours a very pale golden with quickly fading head that is just plain gone leaving no lacing. Aroma is surprisingly pleasant, with citrus, yeast and mild spice. Taste is wheat with a little clove and slight banana. Pretty middle of the road taste-wise. Palate is carbonated with medium body. Drinkable with a decent aftertaste.

Bottle 12oz/355ml, from Eurospar Langnes Tromsø. Hazy orange body. Tall head that soon disappears without a trace, Moderate spicy scents, wheat, clove maybe. Spicy taste, with yeast, citrus, and feels a little mealy, not bad. A little thin body though. The aftertaste spicy bread bites, black syrupy malts, crispy bread, dried cheese, but not overwhelming.

Bottle poured into snifter. Not much head. Opaque orange honey color. Aroma is floral and citrus with lightly toasted hay. Sweet earthy tatse. Spritzy on the front side of the tongue, smooth finish. Overall just OK...

Pours a pale golden slightly unclear beer with a good white head. Smells apples, lemon and some typical weizen smell. Tastes lemon’ish and malts. Average carbo, thin body and a sticky texture. Dont like it.

Pours a nice gold with no head out of a bottle into a sniffer. Not much aroma at all. Nice mouthful with no bitterness. Not much lingers but it does go down smooth. This is a summer beer. I could session with this. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, 355 ml. Poured into a weizen glass at home. ABV 4.7% Nice colour, deep golden orange on the body but a small and thin head, white in colour, with low retention, leaving light lacing on the glass. Lots of wheat on the aroma, very refreshing. Light unripe bananas. Taste is mildly sweet with bananas and wheat, some bubblegum on the aftertaste and kind of bitter/sour on the finish. Maybe a little bit of clove as well. Medium thin body, good carbonation. Overall quite good, even better than some german made hefeweizens.

Pours blond/white. Cream, dust, green banana. Mouth: too high carbonation, ethanal, rotten pear. Avoid that brew mates. Flying dog do better ones !

Iets troebele oranje bruine kleur. Weinig schuim. Typische weizengeur, maar dan minder. Smaakt erg flauw en dun van smaak.
