COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in the centuries old tradition of German beers, our brewers use more wheat and proprietary yeast to give it the unmistakable character of a flavorful, authentic Hefeweizen. The High proportion of wheat gives In Heat its smooth, full-mouth feel and our special yeast gives it its unique fruity and spicy aroma.

Bottle@Home. Interesting aroma with hints of lemon, banana and pepper. Cloudy, yellow color, off-white head, good lace. Very sweet, banana, light bitter, hints of cookie dough. Quite full and a little sticky. Pleasant but not complex or exceptional.

Bottle. Faint smell of banana, wheat, clove and yeast. The taste is a sour malt and lemon conglomeration. Thin body and not much carbonation. This one gets better after the first sip.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a trumpet glass to drink. The beer had a cloudy straw color with a lemon hue and a big foamy white head with great retention and good lacing, but average cling. Its aroma featured a strong wheat component with straw and ample banana, along with touches of yeast and lemon. The beer had a subtle sweet banana flavor mixed with wheat and lemon components, and had a somewhat sour malty effect as well. it was a wet beer with very low carbonation and life, and was pretty thin with a light mouthfeel.

Aroma of typical wheat, clove and banana. Pours murky Orange with a medium head. Taste is ok with clove forward taste and hints of apricot, banana and slight bleach. Not amazing and a little too flavorful.

Thanks for sharing, Min! Yeah, FD can dial in some pretty tasty beers but - whether it’s the style or just a brewery lag - this isn’t really one of them. Nice pale orange pour, decent head and lacing. Nose of yeast and generic Hefe spice. Thin body, tends to wash out any complexity in the taste, which to me was just a bit acrid. Okay but not a patch on the superior versions of the style.

...had it a fwe times, but nothing to remember I suppose. Would have to try again to give a better rating. From what I remember, basic american wheat ale.

Pours a hazy yellow with thick white head, decent lacing. Aroma plain of wheat, banana, clove, and yeast. Flavor matches, but just doesn’t have any balance.
