Ungstrup (10853), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 19, 2005 A hazy orange beer with a huge though disappearing white head. The aroma is very sweet with notes of wheat and banana. The flavor is very spicy and wheaty combined with notes of oranges and banana, leading to a dry wheaty end, but the body is thin. omhper (10141), Stockholm, Sweden Oct 25, 2004 Bottled. Cloudy pale yellow, creamy head. Lemony aroma. Clean with rounded mouthfeel. Medium sweet and fairly light bodied, Lightly yeasty, but mostly lemony. Certainly not true to style, but pretty decent for what it is. Papsoe (9771), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 7, 2007 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of Degarth. Hazy, pale golden with a tall and lively, white head. somewhat odd, synthetic bon-bon-like aroma. Medium body with lightly sweet - but very unclean - fruit notes and a whiff of vitamins. No bitterness. Strange - and very far from a traditional Hefe. 051007 Oakes (6793), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Oct 11, 2002 Very pale beige, opaque; very wheaty palate, lots of grapefruit, low phenols for the style; light body, sour, grapefruity finish. Different, and may not be to everyone’s taste, but I enjoyed its simple, citric, thirst-quenching properties. joergen (6147), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 19, 2008 Bottle.
