COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in the centuries old tradition of German beers, our brewers use more wheat and proprietary yeast to give it the unmistakable character of a flavorful, authentic Hefeweizen. The High proportion of wheat gives In Heat its smooth, full-mouth feel and our special yeast gives it its unique fruity and spicy aroma.

good wheat beer. clean white head, but a lttle to heavy on the carbonation for my taste. overall a good beer, for those who enjoy wheat beers.

Not bad, but definitely need to be in the mood to taste a lot of wheat. Rich and thick for a wheat beer.

i didn’t know i would fall in love with flying dog this much when i bought the sampler pack tonight for our FRANKENSTEIN book club meeting - but i did, and i have. in-heat wheat glistens like sedimentary river water in a biology class test tube. grab the microscope, kids, there’s all kinds of swirling sifts of citrus and banana and coriander and yeasty hot spots spritzing about the aroma bed of this sample. the flavor confirms the aroma - full on humungous hefe-ness, scratched on the belly by mellow washes of wheat and grain. this is a good beer. a perfect beer to finish out this showing of RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD. nothing screams zombies like a lively citrus wheat!

Honestly I just don’t like this beer! It’s one of those no real reason types it just does not do it for me.

Hazy and golden from bottle. A bit watery and light but still drinkable. Dry finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This taste almost exactly like Odell's Easy Street Wheat. My only complaint is the addition of citrus peel. If you add citrus peel you can no longer call it a hefe, it is now a witbier. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very nice cloudy golden rust appeareance, and an extremely smooth brew with a slight hint of banana, but, to me, that just comes with the territory.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy ambers with a small thin head, decent carbonation. Nose is banana and lemon. Taste is the same with more wheat thrown in. Not too bad in the mouth but could be more full.

When I poured this I was excited. It looked like a cloudy, yeasty hefeweizen and I couldn’t wait to try it. The aroma was acceptable, but the flavor an palate was similar to seltzer water with yeast. Medicore at best.

In-Heat Wheat pours a hazy sunrise yellow. The head is generous but disappears quickly. Lots of wheat and banana, with a spicy and citrus finish. Different and kind of Americanized, but drinkable.
