orange brown color, head gone in a flash. Banana taste very dominant. Not a beer I will try again.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours clear light orange, not cloudy at all. Tiny head. Smells like wheat, banana. Flavor is sweet at first before retracting to spicy wheat. Highly carbonated. Not at all what I expected.

Bottle. Solid all-around Hefe. Aroma of banana, and a bit of a citrus taste as well. Pours a nice hazy color with a thin head. Would drink another! Great label too.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Citrusy and smooth, but lacking in flavor. Not bad, but not too good either. Wouldn’t be bad on a hot summer day

I am a fan of wheat beer, so when I had the opportunity to try this one I was quite excited. Somewhat similar to Leinenkugel’s sunset wheat in taste. Mild citrus notes with a definitive wheat aftertaste that diminishes quickly. Overall not bad, but I would not buy again.

This is a fun beer, full of flavor, best drunk slow, to me flavor changes as temprature changes

botlle 30 cl; pours hazy orange, head disappears quickly (i’m afraid i have a dirty glass), structure is not so bad but i can only think of canned mandarines, the ones you find on cheap birthdaycakes.

Having spent time in Europe, I have had several real hefeweizens. This ain’t one. The literal translation of the term hefeweizen is "yeast wheat". Traditionally unfiltered, the beers are cloudy with a bananna aroma, and a good malt backbone to balance out the aroma. This beer had only a slight haze that indicated some kind of filtration, and poured a 1/4" head that vanished in seconds. No lacing, few tracers. This beer would be ok for someone who has never had a true hefeweizen. If they decide they like the style, then they could move on to true hefe beer

Normally I drink the German wheats, but I picked a six of these up to try them. Poured into a weizen glass, forget it. Not the greatest smell, and the taste is so-so. But here’s the thing. I had these bottles in my refrigerator, and if you drink them right out of the bottle they are not bad at all. A nice interesting sweet flavor. So I would recomend this beer for standing out by the grill and drinking right out of the bottle. Really good that way.
