2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draught at Cockney Pub, Århus
Cloudy blond color. A refreshing wheat, with some fruitness, mild wheat character, some malt, light sweetness, almost missing the spices; but the final is very short. Not Wit, not Weisse, but pleasant.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Utobeer. Cloudy orange gold with thin white head. Cereal, lemon, bit of spice on aromas. It’s alright, not very deep or intense. Lemon and hops on finish are decent. It’s alright, decent for the style. Nothing wrong with it. Nothing great. Hop/citrus finish is ok.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. Hazy, yellowish body with a white head on top. Dryish, dusty, slighlty sour on the nose. Quite fruity and citrusy flavor with a sour touch and a dry, dusty, medium full mouthfeel. A strange wheat beer that is drinkable indeed, but far from a traditional German-style hefe. (071005)

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled alc. 4.7% (BB 06/2010; BZ)
Deep hazy orange color, small off-white head. Yeasty aroma with banana and cardboard, light lemony and clove spicey note. Crisp carbonation. Quite sweet flavor. Banana, orange, yeast. Low bitterness. This is very close to German hefeweizens, usually American versions differ a lot. This doesn’t.
