Commercial Description:
Brewed in the centuries old tradition of German beers, our brewers use more wheat and proprietary yeast to give it the unmistakable character of a flavorful, authentic Hefeweizen. The High proportion of wheat gives In Heat its smooth, full-mouth feel and our special yeast gives it its unique fruity and spicy aroma.

tons of sediment on the bottom, nice wheat flavor, nothing really too special as far as wheat beers go, but it wasn’t bad either.

Hazy gold with white head. Aroma of bananas. Wheat and banana flavor reminding me of hometown Schlafly #15.

Aroma of banana, honey, clove, cinnamon and some other spices along with some hay. Pour yields an average sized, frothy white head that goes away pretty quickly. Color is a light, muddy, golden hue. Flavor is nice, and very sweet up front. Finish is spicy and ever so slightly sour. Long duration. Mouthfeel is watery with lively carbonation. Pretty decent Hefe.

Very good flavor for a wheat beer. Had some fruit flavored after-tones. Wasn’t watery like many other lesser quality wheat beers I have had. I would drink again but wouldn’t go out of my way to buy. Good Hefeweizen.

Flaske. Orange uklar øl med et lille skumhoved. Mangler en smule karbonering for at være en rigtig god Hefe. Den bliver en tand for sød i længden når friskheden ikke er der. Banan smagen og alle de klassiske dyder er der ellers.

One of the best from Flying Dog, IMO. I like the fruity sweetness it offers, and agree it tastes more Belgian at first than typical Hefeweizen. A good summer brew.

Pours opaque light orange with light head. Beautiful beer. Aroma of fresh cut flowers, bannana, and sweet grapefruit. Surpsisingly light feel considering the appearance. Very sweet and citrusy with light malt base. Tastes like it had a lemon in it when it didn’t. Leaves an amazing crispness on the finish which lingers forever. It was nice after the first few sips, but the more I drank, the more sweet and one-dimensional it tasted.
