COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in the centuries old tradition of German beers, our brewers use more wheat and proprietary yeast to give it the unmistakable character of a flavorful, authentic Hefeweizen. The High proportion of wheat gives In Heat its smooth, full-mouth feel and our special yeast gives it its unique fruity and spicy aroma.

Bottle 355ml. Poured muddy straw with an averaged sized, fizzy, off-white head which was fully diminishing. A yeasty aroma with bready malts, bubblegum, ripe banana, cloves, vanilla and light notes of hay. Flavor had virtually no bitterness with sweet yeasty malts, banana sweets, creamy ripe pears, cinnamon, cloves and straw. Light bodied with medium carbonation, a watery texture, creamy mouthfeel and a short length finish.

Bottle at home. Pours hazy yellow/golden with a white head. Aroma is yeast, wheat, banana, bread, spices. Taste is sweet, fruity, citrus, banana, yeast. Bit thin and watery, but nevertheless quite refreshing.

Pours hazy golden with big white head. Banana nose. Light wheaty aroma, some banana, malts, yeast. Watery. It’s drinkable and pleasant but not really something to amaze you.

355 mml bottle tasted on 19/07/2014. Hazy golden colour without head (disgusting appearance with no carbonation, no head for a Hefeweizen...). The smell is bad too, metallic and weak. Taste has some banana but very dissapointing too. Extremely low carbonation and low body. Disaster for a Hefeweizen! Next one please!

Quite a disaster. Wheaty, bit toxic yeast, banana, spices, old socks, fertilizer. Light sweet with som e sourness and light biterness. Very undrinkable. Price/performance – disaster.

Bottle. Pours fairly clear golden with a big white head that disappears quickly. Nose is banana, clove and some lemon. Mostly lemon and wheat in the taste. Some dryness in the aftertaste.

I might be a bit biased because I am not a fan of wheat beers, but I don’t particularly enjoy the taste. Seems to be very watery.

Bottle 355 ml. Pours hazy golden with white head. Yeasty and malty. Doesn’t really taste like classic hefeweizen, lacks flavor and body.

Hazy orange with little head. Aromas of mixed spice, hint of cinnamon, cereal. Taste slightly sweeter than bitter. Soft carbonation. Finish fairly short. Nothing special but one of Flying Dog’s better efforts.

Not much of a hefeweizen to be sure. Just a little grain and generally lager like. Pours cloudy orange. Light sour finish with a sense that tries hard to be at least citrusy but just isn’t. Bottle.
