COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in the centuries old tradition of German beers, our brewers use more wheat and proprietary yeast to give it the unmistakable character of a flavorful, authentic Hefeweizen. The High proportion of wheat gives In Heat its smooth, full-mouth feel and our special yeast gives it its unique fruity and spicy aroma.

Bottle from Harvest Market, Pours a slightly hazy pale straw color with a huge frothy rocky white head that persists forever. Aromas of spicy wheat, and clove with hints of light fruit. The flavor follows the aroma quite well. Sweet honey like maltiness with a spicy edge to it. Clove with a hint of yeastiness and a touch of light fruit round out the flavor. Medium body with a moderate to high level of carbonation and a sweet slick mouthfeel. Nice brew, I enjoyed it, but it is missing something that the examples from Germany exude.

bottle. hazy golden with one finger head. if you took a good german hefe and watered it down significantly, you’d have something like this. what’s here is nice, but i wish there was more of it.

12 oz bottle from Tipsy’s into a globe glass. Pale, orange and hazy with an average white head. Aroma of orange peel, clove, floral notes, lemongrass, spices, banana and herbs. Similar flavor, mild, fruity and spicy adding a light, clean hop bitterness. Light body, a little thin and watery with an abrupt finish. Meh.

Bottle. Pale yellow color. Slight smell of banana. Tasted lightly of banana, with very little clove. Not very thick/chewy. Head dissipated quickly.

Bottle: extremely pale yellow color with moderate haze; small, wispy, bone white head vanishes quickly - not good for a hefeweizen. Aroma is very light; biscuit, wheat, lightly fruity esters (banana) & that’s about it. Lackluster. Flavor is the same way... Mild apples, banana-y esters, some wheat, & the lightest hint of clove. Underwhelming in flavor & aroma. Over-carbonated as well, too sharp & not thick/chewy enough for the style. It’s honestly not bad tasting, just extremely vapid & very mediocre for a hefeweizen.

Appearance: Medium cloudy golden color with a white head that leaves a fine lacing.
Aroma: Wheat and banana.
Palate: Medium + body. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Average to rich carbonation.
Taste: Mild balanced wheat, mild fruity and balanced banana.
Overall impression: Nice refreshing and tasty hefe.
Personal stats: Bottle from Matkroken in Halden, Norway

Pours a hazy yellow with two fingers of white head. Lots of yeast and spice on the nose. Flavor is yeasty and bready. Not a bad beer
