Not bad, but there are better Winter Warmers out there. Apperance was nice, poured a reddish brown with a figer or so of foam. The head lasted for some time. Looked tasty Aroma, ale yeast was present, along with some fruit, cherry and current. Initially the taste is fruity with the cherry and current flavors coming through, a nice balanced hop flavor is clear throughout the taste (I would assume Northern Brewer or Bullion hops). The balance of the initial flavors is overshawdowed on the back in by strong ale yeast flavors. Mouthfeel is normal, and the drinkability is somewhat lower than expected. Avery Old Jubilation is a very similar beer in flavor, but much better in my opinion.

Clear deep amber with almost no head or lacing. Faint smell of vegetables and malt. Smooth mothfeel and low carbonation. Tase of dark malt, caramell and prunes. Fruity aftertaste.

On tap at Green Turtle in Annapolis. Pours murky brown, smell of ttoffee malts and spices. Flavor includes plenty of spice. Not completely off-putting. Maybe worth trying if you’ve got no other options around (the case at GT).

Bottle from Systembolaget, sweden. Big and lasting brown head. Clowdy red-brown color. Big pale malty aroma with a tuch of caramell. Caramell malty taste but low sweetness and balanced body with a medium bitterness. The big alcohidden in the beer.ole content is not present and well the beer.

Good winter seasonal , without excess of spices. Actually , without spices. Dark amber color ,;medium, off-white head. Caramel , bread and some hops in aroma. Good balanced malty taste with warming finish. Really good in winter.

Spicy malts on the nose and flavour, I was expecting either lots of spice, or loads of depth, but it’s just a decent strong ale

Very new genre for me. Certainly wintery. Strong taste of oak? Not bad. Love the color. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
