Bottled. Blonde. Grassy aroma with a hint of orange. Sweetish, alcoholic, grassy flavor with malt and orange. Middle of the road triple.

Bottle. Pours an average light cheddar orange with a strange aroma of grassy popcorn, malt liquor corn syrup, and retarded lemon. Flavor is top-shelf malt liquor, with hints of (actually a barrage of) corn syrup, hay, and dried dirty grass. Average mouthfeel. Put this dog down, fellas; it’s in pain.

Sampled on 4/26/2009. This tripel pours a medium orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, touch of yeast. A medium to light bodied tripel. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are floral. There is a touch of yeast, but mostly sweet fruity malts characterize this beer. Not a lot else going on. A little more carbonation might help. Kind of bland, boring and not very interesting. Touch of pilsner malts and hops in the background. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet and a touch yeasty.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. The smell is malts, caramel, sweet, and spices. The look is clear and not too much head. The taste is slightly sweet, malts, spices, and some yeast.

Reviewed 4/20/2009 (bottle vintage08FF): Pours a golden light yellow colored body, pretty clear, somewhat cloudy, with a small white head, very quickly diminishing. Belgiany sweet aroma, some nuttiness. Some pilsner skunk too. Effervescent. Something is off in the aroma. Not as enticing as a typical Belgian Trippel. Light sweet taste, some funkiness there too. A little watery palate. Some nuttiness. Light taste, weakish. Not very good.

Poured out of a 7oz bottle clear gold with thin off white head. The aroma is pretty full with apples mixing with honey, spice, prunes and raisins. The taste is much the same with sweet malts and candi sugar to go along with apples, prunes, a touch of black pepper, spices and yeast. It ends sweet with lots of apple, honey and a bit of yeast lingering into the after taste.

Lightly foggy amber with a thin off white head. Aroma is yeast, pretty malty, light alcohol. Taste is very light, light corriander, light alcohol, very light in general and mild. Seems much more like a Belgian Ale then a Tripel.

courtesy of ibrew2or3 pours golden, thin white head. Aroma, sweet, grainy, yeasty. Taste, thick mouthfeel, alcohol, fruity, light malt profile with some hops and esters. Medium body, some peach like fruits coupled with candi sugar. Feels weak for a trippel.
