The beer has a clear, yellow-golden colour with a white, thin head. Th taste is a bit sweet, citric and yeasty. Medium bodied, some carbonation. I would say a reasonable, good triple. wingman333 (239), San Antonio, Texas, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Apr 2, 2009 Bottle...a very substandard tripel. In fact, I could find little I liked about it. Very thin in taste, watery. Not a lot of kick, either. A sour taste, very thin otherwise. Really makes one appreciate the Belgies even more. Ober (1188), Bommelerwaard, Netherlands

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 28, 2009 A hazy golden beer with a small white head that doesn’t last. A sweet aroma of light fruit, belgian yeast, and an earthy hay smell. Flavor is a bready malt with some peppery spicy notes and some yeast and alcohol. Mouthfeel is surprisingly thick and chewy, considering my above description. Hey, I am not a huge belgian fan, but you put this next to westmalle and I’m not sure I’d have a clear favorite. Massively under-rated by trappist snobs, in my opinion! blutt59 (2099), Dallas, Texas, USA
