fluffy (229), Florida, USA Oct 11, 2009 found via the 7oz 8 bottle multipack. pours straw yellow with a fruity and alcohol heavy aroma. taste is strongly of sweet alcohol sugars, like a whiskey or rum. not bad, but the real things from belgium are much better. jimmythechippy (15), , Australia Oct 9, 2009 Vintage 08. Poured littlle to no head. flavour was sweet on the tounge with a small amount of lingering bitterness. Enjoyit (1697), Vadum, Denmark Sep 29, 2009 Unclear golden of color with a white head. An aroma of sweets and spice. A flavor of clove, spice and sweets. BeerChaser0078 (284), Melbourne, Australia Sep 25, 2009 207ml Bottle. Pours light golden honey colour with a fizyy white head that is gone in seconds. Nose a tad unpleasant with an aroma of corn flakes and a musty, earthy overtone that reminds me of an old, abondoned house. Flavour is better, grainy and sweet, but still with that corn flake presence in the background. This was a disappointment considering that all the other Flying Dog beers I have tried have been good, but this is pretty underwhelming. sfhodense (554), Odense NØ, Denmark Sep 24, 2009 EBF08. Golden with a white head. Aroma is malty and some fruit. Flavour is malt and light fruit. coldbrewky (716), Saugerties, New York, USA Sep 22, 2009 Bottle via Bonster in trade. Boy this was pretty in the glass. Mounded head of tan on the crisp bold golden, steady carbonation. This was an easy drinking triple with a good bit of gusto behind it. Body was lighter than I expected. Spices, yup got em. sweet candi sugar, got em. but a three headed dog htat guards the gates of hell? Nope, this brew aint from Avery. Thanks Bonster! Fratto (670), Arlington, Texas, USA Sep 20, 2009 Small bottle from Cavie. Pours light yellow. Sweet taste with dark fruits. Distinct and nice. thedm (3833), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Sep 20, 2009 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy fine to medium sized off-white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a hazy typically carbonated dark yellow colored body. The mild aroma was bready mild hop dough and mild floral. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a medium vinous aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of mild hops mildly vinous and candy. A decent one that I would consider buying again.
