Aroma is very sweet and malty with hints of yeast and a light hop note. Some grass in there as well. Very sweet and yeasty at the start with a lightly spiced middle and a sweet and bitter finish. Flavors die quickly. Average at best. dolemite77 (184), Maryville, Tennessee, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 25, 2008 Pours a nice golden, but pretty much zero head. For me, this one was too sweet and a little one dimensional. There are a few nice flavors from the funky yeast, but mostly this is a sweet, high alcohol beer. Something needs to balance out the sweetness. epf33 (222), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 25, 2008 on the 4-pack i bought it in, it marked this beer as light and hoppy... i think they were accurate, the unfiltered taste gave it a perfect Belgian style taste to it, it was just a bit too sweet however Defreni (999), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 24, 2008 Flaske. Lysegul uigennemsigtig øl. Klassisk trippel farve. Ikke så parfumeret duft, faktisk meget svag duft. Smagen er sød med en smule krydderi. Bitter eftersmag. Ikke nogen dårlig trippel, men heller ikke rigtig god. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 24, 2008 Bottle. High fluffy but lasting white head. Hazy yellow body. Fruity yeasty aroma. Dry fruity hoppy yeasty and actually quite powerful flavor. Alcohol barely tasteable. Carbonation kept to a minimum and it has a long bitter sweet aftertaste. craftbeerdesign (747), Alpharetta, Georgia, USA
