FatPhil (3449), Espoo, Finland Sep 20, 2008 Bottle (EBF2008)
Yeasty and fruity - quite belgian. Sweet soft body. Pleasant esters, but no real high points. Not bad at all, but lacking that certain je ne sais quoi. Dare I say it, but this could benefit from a bit more hops. thewolf (5662), Kolding, Denmark Sep 20, 2008 Bottle @ EBF, 2008, Carlsberg.
Pours a pretty, clear golden with a small, creamy, white head. Perhaps the colour is just a bit too pale and pale lager-like for its own good. Lightly dry, fine mouthfeel. Flavour is okay, rather uneventful, light exotic fruits, some yeast and a dry, hoppy finish. Overall okay. BeerHawk (1175), Huntsville, Alabama, USA Sep 19, 2008 Bottle. Poured a pale golden with a white head that leaves light lacing. Slightly subdue aroma of fruits. The flavor has a nice fruitiness with a spice and citrus backing. Medium body, dry, and medium bitterness in the finish. Dedollewaitor (3625), Odense, Denmark Sep 19, 2008 33cl bottle. Pours clear gold with a small white head. Nose is vague & clean. Some vague yeast, spices & orange. Quite simple & drinkable however the yeast is too little interesting!!
