Bottle. Fruity aroma. Golden colored beer with a thin lace head. Very sweet taste at first sip. Slightly fruity, tastes of grapes. Not a bad beer but not the best triple.

A dull toffee/caramel aroma. Orange - tinged gold color, minimal head, a bit hazy. Palate is decent - sour, malty, has a fair bit of sweetness. Detected no trace of alcohol. Not bad but I am not a huge tripel fan.

12.oz bottle: Aroma is fruity, dry, and has a slight alcohol twang to it. Very nice. Appearance is a golden color with a slight tinge of amber in the body and a tin white head that diminishes into a soapy film. Taste is got a nice fruity note to it, lightly hopped, and just a light amount of malt backing at the end. Overall, Pretty nice tripel it doesn’t blow me away by any means but decent all the same. Cheers!

Pours a cloudy gold/dark orange with a very thin head. Pleasant fruit and spice in the aroma. Banana, more fruits, clove, cinnamon. Light body for a tripel, but has a pleasant dry finish.

This is a pretty damn good productin by the FDB. Pours a nice gold color with a really ncie fluffy head. Aroma of yeast and more yeast, with some malt and fruit as well. Flavor is yeasty, smooth and creamy and a tad sweet. Very light and fluffy in the mouth. I would drink this again.

bottle - Poured a golden amber in color with a small white head that faded to nothing quickly. Aroma is of Belgian yeast and slightly sweet malts... some clove/banana... nice. Hint of yeasty sourness, Fruity esters. Flavor is more than slightly sweet... lots of Belgian yeast, clove/banana spiciness and orange. Alcohol is definitely apparent, but not overwhelming. OK,but not great...a little rough for the style...

12 oz bottle. Small white fluffy head on a bright gold color. Filtered. Nose is a bit funky and spicy with some sweetness-promising. Taste is very sweet and sticky with overt spiciness. The alcohol is very overwhelming and takes over the beer. Not real balanced. Quite dissapointing.

Nice inviting aroma of cloves, banana, and spices. Hint of the alcohol. Head completely disappears, but body is golden and brilliant. no lacing whatsoever. Taste is flat, banana, cloves, and spices. About what you’d expect from the aroma. There is a slightly interesting hoppy finish, but short lived. Some Flying Dogs are amazing, like the Gonzo, and others, like this, are still interesting, but just okay as a craft offering.
