Pours a light gold pour. Sweet brown sugar malt aroma. Light malt some hop aroma and some residual sweetness. I just didn’t get anything out of this.

slightly dirty golden color with no head, aroma is honey, mild bananas, DMS and maybe some fusile alcohol, flavor is very sweet, lots of residual sugars in here, alcohol is very hot, evaporates off the tongue, tastes like a headache tomorrow, good thing this is just a tiny ’lil 7 oz bottle

Bottle. Pours a light orange gold. Little to no head and no lacing. Pretty light for a triple but very drinkable. Nice sweetness and a touch of spice. Not quite like other tripels, pretty simple, not much complexity...almost reminded me of a wheat beer. Aside from that I am a big fan of the overall flavor and the brew.

35.5cl bottle; Hazy, golden colour with a short blond foamy head. Sweet and juicy, moderately fruity malty (pears, mango) aroma with spicy and hoppy notes. Bitter-sweet flavour, full bodied with a flat carbonation. Pale malty, slightly bready and restrained fruity taste with harsh bitter hoppy and spicy tones; bitter and slightly sweet malty finish with a sharp alcoholic note. A rough example of the style. 31.VIII.09

Location: 7 oz bottle from King Farm, 8/28/09

Aroma: Sugary and malty, some citrus fruits, really faint at first but opens up a bit as it warms
Appearance: Clear orange color, thin white head
Flavor: Bit of a tangy, bready, sweet flavor, similar to the nose in character but not as high quality
Palate: A bit on the light side, fizzy, metallic, and watery (what made the difference between 2 & 3)
Overall Impression: At first whiff I was thinking this wouldn’t get a great score, after a sip or two and allowing it to breathe for a few minutes, it certainly improved on the nose side. Even then, it is just alright for me, nothing too special. I didn’t dislike it, but if you are going to call a beer a tripel I need more complexity then this.

From the Jug at the GABF Colorado Convention Center, Denver 10/10/2008 Floral and malt aromas. Clear golden coloured rich on the palate and strong in alcohol with a crisp and bitter lasting malt finish.

I’ve been spoilt with the quality of the beers I’ve drunk from the US recently, saw this and thought it must be good. It wasn’t. Very orange with a slight red tint, very loud and fizzy white head that died to nothing in seconds. Just tasted like a strong lager to me. Quite malty, little spice and biscuit. Rating as a tripel, I wasn’t impressed, judged alone on it’s merits, I didn’t like it.
