Geroosterd mout in de lichte geur, maar dan volgt een diepe, rijke smaak van caramel, chocolade en koffie, visceus en romig, bitter-zoet in een lang nagalmende nasmaak

Wild Dog Coffee Stout (Batch 2). Vintage 2010. 12 oz bottle into a tulip glass. Pours a black body that lets some light through. Quick fading mocha head with a thin edging. Moderate lacing. Smells ashy and smokey. A bit of chocolate and a weird coffee aroma, not really pleasant. Taste is the same. Faded coffee beans, chocolate, a bit of ash and then the unmistakable taste of an oxidized stout. Its not bad and it is drinkable....I just can’t help but wonder what this must have been like fresh. Way over the hill at this point.

Lett fyldig lukt med preg av mørk malt, humle, masse kaffi, sterk lakris, soya, alkohol, gras, kakao, chili. Svakt fyldig og sødmerik smak med preg av mørk malt, humle, syrlig kaffi, lakris, gras, chili, kakao, soya. Middels bitterhet som set litt. God.

Draft at Mudville 9. Deep black color with a malty sweet taste. Very easy drinking for the abv. I could see why they keep reproducing it

Bottle at a bar. Strongly flavoured, plenty of coffee with slight bitterness. Resemles a Belgian trippel.

Deep black with a moussy cappuccinowise head which immediately disappears. Malty aroma, some coffee, Taste is sweet with hints of chocolate and coffee. Oily body.

En mjukt rostad, fyllig arom med inslag av choklad och en söt vaniljton.
Helsvart vätska och ett mörkt, krämigt mockaskum.
Mycket tät och stor smak med inslag av mörkrostat kaffe, choklad och en lite sötaktig vaniljton. En rak, okomplicerad och välbalanserad öl som på grund av sötman är mer av en porter snarare än en kaffestout. Inga extravaganser men högsta kvalitet rakt igenom.
Mycket fyllig kropp och en lätt och småbubblig kolsyra.
Eftersmaken är kort och elegant avrundad med en halvtorr avslutning där en lätt bitterhet snarare än massiv beska lever kvar.

Schwarzes Stout mit so gut wie keinen Schaum. Leicht röstmalziges Aroma. Im Antrunk dann aber die geballte Röstmalzladung mit viel Kaffee im Geschmack, was mir als Kaffeetante ja gefällt. Klingt lang und trocken aus. Ordentliches Stout.
