Schwarzes Stout mit so gut wie keinen Schaum. Leicht röstmalziges Aroma. Im Antrunk dann aber die geballte Röstmalzladung mit viel Kaffee im Geschmack, was mir als Kaffeetante ja gefällt. Klingt lang und trocken aus. Ordentliches Stout.

355ml Bottle - Black with a tan head. Roasted malt, coffee, plain chocolate and blackcurrant in the aroma. Roasted, rich and malty taste with notes of Bournville chocolate, coffee, liquorice and roasted malt.

Tan head good size very dark pour slightly thick with soft carbonation aromas rich coffee liquorice dark malts fruit as well roasted aromas notes of alcohol the flavours dry note coffee some ash and cocoa dark rich roasted tastes sweet liquorice raisin plum note molasses medium bitter just lacking some body but still good tasting best aftertastes sweet malts fruit notes coffee very lasting dry note ash just that lack of body

Have to say this is much better than a pearl necklace. Soft on the palate but with a richness on flavour that carries the coffee notes.

Very good stout with espresso in nose and tick of chocolate and cereal in taste afterthat.

Bottle. Pours black with small tan head. Coffee, roasted malts aroma. Roasted and coffee taste, some dark chocolate.

Bottle. Pours black and oily with a small, mocha-colored head. Aroma is roasted with strong presence of coffee and coffee bean fruitiness. A bit sweet, light tones of chocolate and dates. Taste is roasted with coffee a strong presence again. Light liquorice and dark fruitiness, caramel. Somewhat sweet. Perhaps a bit of yeasty funk. A bit too sweet for me, I think. Palate is medium, smooth and oily, somewhat carbonated.

Bottle @ Home. Pours pitch black with a light brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, black coffee, dark chocolate. Flavor is rich roasted malts, coffee, light vanilla, dark chocolate, light boozy. Medium body, soft carbonation, Little warming alcohol in the finish. 010413

Bottled 0,33L - . Dark brown color, nealry black, much depp aspect with a nice dark nut head, creamy but not much persistant. Very roast and ashed aroma, decided of dried and burned malt, coffee, braced caramel, bitter cacao, ashed cortex. Round and medium smooth taste, powerfull bitter start with a moderate caramel and coffèe final.

Oh wow, this one had to many strong tasts for me. Per sip I took it tasted worse. A really long duration, full body, strong tastes. Not gonna have this beer very soon again.
