Pours black, no light through, very slight khaki head. Aroma coffee, doughy malt, roast malt, chocolate, vanilla, moderate alcohol. Taste big roast, sweet toffee malt, coffee, bittersweet chocolate, vanilla, slightly earthy, very sweet. Full body, medium carbonation, nice alcohol bite, sweet finish. Overall extremely tasty, well made beer,a bit sweet for me, not the best in style, but very good.

Dark brown-black body, medium sized tan head, spotty lacing. Baker’s chocolate, light coffee, roast, caramel, vanilla bean, and molasses. Medium to full bodied, moderate carbonation, mild sweetness, finish is a little unrefined, but otherwise solid.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Room temp bottle, four months old, into tulip. Black with a small brown head that bubbles away after a minute or so. Aroma is sweet, sharp coffee. Like other coffee stouts, the coffee aroma almost becomes leafy or vegetal. Body is medium, smooth, a little carbonation and a bit foamy. Taste is mild coffee, sweet, yeasty, alcohol comes through towards the end. Alcohol is showing up a bit too much and the coffee is a bit mild, but this is a nice, drinkable beer.

Bottle. Black with a mocha head. Big aromas of sweet milk chocolate and coffee with malts and clay in the background. Taste is fairly sweet with a light dry coffee finish. Body is heavier with a sticky feel. Sweet and easy drinking imperial stout.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
The color is black like Grumpy cat’s heart. Although the head is really minimal. Smells like a wet stout beer. Heavy roasted coffee flavor, thick syrupy beer. Nice and creamy. Damn good!

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours brown but nearly black and slick with a rich brown sugar mocha head that fades to a solid rim and coating. No lacing. Aroma is buttery coffee and roasted grains. Taste is heavenly smooth and creamy sweet roasted malts and coffee. with notes of chocolate and even vanilla. Could be more bitter and a bit more rich and flavor-deep, but great-tasting and no sense of the ABV at all. Super smooth on the palate. Very drinkable. I enjoyed this quite a bit.
