SirSlarty (68), Reading, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 21, 2008 An Okay beer. a bit too buttery and dry in the mouth, quite odd. Smells malty. Not a favorite of mine from this brewery
beerheart (211), Erie, Colorado, USA Jul 5, 2008 Poured amber with a simple head. Light body and thin mouthfeel, roasted malt and caramel flavor. Not as good a steam beer as the more common Anchor, in my opinion. Lord_Corkscrew (475), Ronco Scrivia (GE), Italy Jul 3, 2008 Mbč? Mah. Mbč? Mah. E allora? Mah. Avrň avuto troppe aspettative io, ma questa volta non ho trovato niente di particolare. Una birra senza dubbio buona (il voto č positivo per quello) ma senza un briciolo di curiositŕ che mi spinga ad assaggiarla di nuovo. E ne ho comprate due bottiglie... checkmatei1 (198), Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 30, 2008 Bottle: Of the beers I’ve had from Flying Dog, this one is their best everyday beer (IMO). It poured an amber color with small head. The aroma was somewhat sweet like caramel. The flavor was easy drinking, nice balance between light hops and light malt. Overall, a favorite of mine from this brewery. subcell (94), Portsmouth, Virginia, USA Jun 28, 2008 Well... this pored very nicely and had beautiful color. It smelled a little hopped for what I am used to in an Amber. Either way, the aroma was pleasant. After tasting it I thought this is the perfect Amber for hop heads just not me. Adenila (576), Denmark Jun 26, 2008 Clear amber with a small white head. Aroma is sweet of caramel and some dusty hobs. Flavor is quite sweet aswell. Rather uncomplex but very drinkable
