3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled. Black with a thin, bright white head. Nose is of very light dark chocolate, mild brine and smoke - quite interesting. Chocolate malts are much more prominent in the flavor, with mild, meaty and salty undertones. Finish has a bit more smoke and light coffee. Quite an eclectic mix of flavors.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours nearly black with a tan head that disappears to a rim. Aroma is cocoa and roasted malt with a hint of coffee. Taste is more coffee and oatmeal than chocolate. Roasted malt backbone. I want or taste oysters on the half shell in there, but I'm not sure. A bit shallow. Decent but not too memorable.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Decent enough stout. On the sharper side with the malts taking a back drop to the taste of alcohol. Its ok but I was left disappointed expecting something better.
