4 ounce draft pour at ChurchKey poured into a snifter. Pours dark brownish black with light tan head. Barely much lacing. Aromas of roast, coffee, caramel. Tasting notes of roast, caramel, dark chocolate, a little salt. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Semi-creamy mouthfeel. Pretty tasty.

Nice well rounded oyster stout. Pours black with good head and lacing. Sharp dry roast aroma tempered by light oyster saltiness. Finishes dry and bitter. Thick consistency. Good.

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Nesodden. Tiny light brown head which disappears completely after a couple of minutes. Solid dark brown body. Aroma is coffee, roasted malt, smoked wood. Gentle on the tongue, mostly sweet. Feels a little thin on the palate. Light fizzy carbonation. The oysters seem well hidden, but I sense something salt and seafood-like in the aftertaste.

From bottle. Pours a dark brown/black with a thin beige head that disappears quickly. No lacing. Aroma is roasted malts. Taste is roasted malts, dry, but I’m not getting the oyster. Mouthfeel is thinner than expected. This is a smooth easy to drink beer. In body and flavor, it’s more like a porter than a stout.

Bottle. Pours black with a creamy brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of sweet chocolate and roasted malt with a good amount of earthiness backing. Flavor has a distinct note of oysters with roasted malts, dark chocolate and dark grains backing.

12 oz. Opaque with a lasting film of bubbles. Nose is chocolate, caramel and vanilla. Tastes of vanilla, malted milk chocolate, toasted walnut, espresso and graham cracker. Medium body is to the sweet side but finishes dry enough with a light astringency. Medium carbonation is mostly smooth but has some fizzy flareups that are my only complaint about this otherwise tasty brew. Well done, though not sure what the oysters may have added other than some body?

12 oz bottle for 1.79. Pours very dark brown, almost black with a dark amber hue to it. Aroma is huge on the coffee and caramel flavors. Slightly chocolatey as well. Taste is similar with a nice roasty flavor at the end. Body is creamy, slightly heavy and low carbonation. Overall this is an excellent stout. I wish they made an imperial version of this beer. But it’s still an excellent, smooth, easily drinkable stout.

Bottle from Csak a Jó Sör. Aroma is mostly chocolatey roast, sweet, milky, toffee. Light light coffee. Clear dark brown colour. Taste is chocolate, light black roasted malt. Clean and nicely rounded, easy drinking. Roasted finish.
