Dark brown pour long lasting tan head. Aroma of smoke roasts hay and cream. Tastes like fresh oysters choco char. Dry palate. Very good oyster stout; would get again.

This beer sits just fine. Oysters don’t seem to be apparent in the taste. Dark chocolate, coffee aspects with a fairly bitter finish. Medium bodied beer with an everlasting thin head as you drink it. I like it fine as a stout (but can stand just one every now and then). Aroma does not match the better taste.

Nem rég ismerkedtem meg a különleges sörök világával, de minimum egy indokot tudok mondani, miért is volt jó ez: Flying Dog Pearl Necklace Oyster Stout. De van még pár indok ezen kívül :)

Bottle: dark brown with a small light brown head. Choco malt aroma with super malty flavors. Don’t taste any oysters. Thin body. Not bad

I had this at Global Brew. Pours dark cola color with tan head. Taste coffee, chocolate, roasted malt. I didn't like this. I wouldn't drink it again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is only my second oyster stout actually brewed with oysters! It poured a dark mahogany body, clear around the edges, with a light brown head. Nice lacework. It has an aroma of lightly roasted dark malt, black licorice, and Rappahannock River oysters. (Not really, on that last point. All river oysters smell much the same to me.) The flavor is roasty and dry, has some anise, and is a bit salty... presumably from the oysters. It’s not a bad drink, but outside of its having oysters in it, doesn’t seem very special to me.

Bottle. This was my first oyster stout, as they seem pretty rare, and I have never really seen one before. It was quite interesting. You get the coffee and chocolate taste like a normal stout and then you get left with a briney, salty taste on your tongue. Not my favourite, but curious, and worth a try.

4 ounce draft pour at ChurchKey poured into a snifter. Pours dark brownish black with light tan head. Barely much lacing. Aromas of roast, coffee, caramel. Tasting notes of roast, caramel, dark chocolate, a little salt. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Semi-creamy mouthfeel. Pretty tasty.

355ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours deep dark brown with a thin tan head. Aromas of coffee, molasses. Taste brings a salty tang, more coffee. Creamy texture. Long roasty finish. Nice.
