Láhev 355 ml. Po nalití, zajímavá vůně sojové omáčky, ryb a pražené kávy. Pěna je středně vysoká, krémově hnědá a jemná. Chuť piva připomíná neslazenou tureckou kávu s podtóny vanilky a malin doprovázené ráznou hořkostí připomínající tonic.

Pour is a black with a small tan head. Aroma is a nice roast with a little coffee. Flavor is about the same. Lots of nice roasted notes with a little coffee. Maybe some salty brineyness toward the end but nothing overpowering. It’s a decent stout.

beautiful dark colour with huge foamy brown head; aroma of chocolate, roasted malt and hints of saltyness; taste of (over)roasted malt, coffee, some sourness and minimal saltyness; long lasting bitter aftertaste; not bad, but stouts are still not my favourite

As usual, the Old Toad was out of my 1st choice, all day IPA, the keg was ’just kicked’. Good thing I had this on my list too. Dark brown/black color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of toasted malt, some chocolate, & coffee; Flavor of roasted malt, caramel, hops, and coffee; Dry finish; Nicely balanced. Pretty decent. Out with Joe and our wives for dinner.

355 ml bottle, poured into a Guiness small pint glass, at home. ABV 5.5% Very dark brown colour, almost totally black. Two fingers of beige head, average retention and nice lacing left on the glass. Aroma of very roasted, almost burnt malts. Taste lightly bitter, roasted malts with light acidity. I haven’t ever had oysters since they look disgusting so I don’t know if it tastes of oysters, but I do find a very faint fish sauce flavour, not annoying or offending at all though. Medium thick on the body, with notable carbonation. Quite dry on the palate. Nice beer, it didn’t rock my world though.
