poured into snifter, dark black but some light still shining through and one finger brown head. moderate lacing down the glass. the aroma is heavily roasted, strong coffee and some chocolate present but mostly strong coffee bean aroma. the taste i would say is more subdued than the aroma iím picking up a lot of coffee and roasted notes but the body is pretty thin and heavily carbonated. this is my introduction to an oyster stout and iím not noticing any significant difference from any other style of stout, i have read in some reviews of other oyster stout there is a brininess or saltiness to the beer and iím not picking up any of that here. over all though this is a well rounded stout with great roasted character.

The beer has a very unique palate, which I enjoyed quite a bit. This brew is a must try for any stout lover. Dark, easy drinking, big flavor.

Dark dark brown, with a medium offwhite head. Aroma of malts, and not much else, for me atleast. Taste is pretty bland, but sweet. I guess itís okay, for the low abv.

Flavorful, creamy, dry palate. Well balanced with the malt and hops. A safe stout, but it is a dry stout after all.

pours black with a thick tan head.aroma is smoke and chocolate.flavor is smoke, chocolate and a slight saltiness that i think may come from the oysters even though i cant detect oysters myself.medium body with average carbonation and a slightly bitter finish.solid stout even though its not complex.very drinkable
