Bottled. Pours a deep dark brown/ruby with a finger thick, neverending creamy beige head on its top. The aroma brings caramel, vanilla, earth and mild roasted malt along. Slick, somewhat creamy texture. Sweetbitter and tannic finish with coffee malts. Enjoyable one.

Bottle. Pitch black beer with a strong head. The aroma is very reasonably roasted and the flavour is roasted and malty with a good amount of bitterness. Overall a reasonable stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Coffee and yeast. Good mouthfeel, with a nice balance of hops and roasted malts. However, the development is a little bit short and flat, but is nice beer anyway.

12oz bottle from Kalamazoo megabev. Pitch Black pour with a few inches of offwhite head that settled to be fairly dense. Smells a lot like root beer - vanilla and a bit of licorice, sweet aquatic scents are evident but just slightly. Lots of carbonation. Sweet and savory Carmel taste, toasty and good. Finish is a bit salty and predominantly dry. This is a good savory solid stout with not too heavy of a body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

355 mL bottle into a long glass at the York Tap. Black with plentiful light brown foamy head. Chocolate roast, dry, bitter, plenty of body and strangely refreshing. Has some candy sugar to it as well. Sweet aroma with some roast to it. Fair, as the novelty wears off after a few sips.

Stagshead tasting. Pours dark brown with very thin dissipating head. Nose of cocoa and the sea. Tastes of chocolate, coffee, oyster brine, vanilla, earth, and toast. Easy drinking and creamy.
