Bottle. Pours a dark orange color with white head. Pumpkin, grassy, fresh garden aromas. Pumpkin, hoppy, grassy, slight resiny flavors. Fun, different take on a pumpkin beer.

Pours a murky reddish brown with yeasty chunks in it. Frothy light tan head. Aroma of light orangey hops but mostly pumpkin pie spices. Taste is lightly bitter with a slightly dry spicy finish. Medium body with medium light carb. Interesting but nothing great.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20
Dark muddled amber orange pour with fair tan head. The aroma isn’t bad, but I Just couldn’t really get behind the way that hops and the pumpkin played off each other. Kinda clashed and just tasted like a vegetal pale ale. I guess there’s a reason why I haven’t seen a pumpkin ipa before...

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Earthy, metallic, with pine and pumpkin. Spices with a bit of malt. I am sure the hops are in there, but they’ve just sort of mixed in with everything else. Meh.

Cask @ Alewife. Hazy reddish dark amber with small foamy beige head, fruity (grape) aroma, low carbonation, low carbonation, caramel taste with little hops influence, noticeable alcohol undertones, not really strong in the pumpkin area.

29 sept 2015, tap. Hazy brown. Nose is spiced pumpkin. Thin/med body and moderately fizzy. Lightly spiced pumpkin background with more dominant pine hops that give it a noticeable bitter bite. Interesting.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hazy deep copper with a thin off ivory cap. Strange but pleasing nose of pumpkin spice and floral/piney American hops. Bitter flavor of resiny piney hops and grapefruit peel, mild bitter acidity, finishing with sweet ginger-tinted pumpkin flesh and classical pumpkin spice. Very unique and different but it comes across a bit bitter and acidic for my preferences.

Bottle. Poured a hazy dark orange color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted pumpkin and dark spice aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium dark sweet flavor with a medium dark sweet finish of moderate duration. This is an strange beer.
