Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines, Sheffield. Clear, copper colour. Thin, lasting, just off white head. Nose has roasted pumpkin. Some cinammon. Touch of fruity hop. Spicy malts. Definitely evocative. Taste is sweet, gingery and spicy. Soft, earthy bitter. Lots of body. Soft carbonation. Finishes sweet and spicy, with a herby, cinnamon close. I thought this might pretty bad, but it’s ok, overall.

Bottle at level 42. It pours clear deep amber with a medium white head. The aroma is rich, earthy, pumpkin, squash, autumnal vibe, pie, spice and fruit cake. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, wood, resinous, pumpkin, squash, quite spicy and a touch of alcohol with a dry, spicy finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Decent for style.

BigBeer45 (1436) - Michigan, USA - OCT 19, 2016
Bottle, drank from a glass, this ale was a amber-burnt orange in the glass with a bit of haze, and the pour gave a two finger off-white / pale yellow cover of bubbles, it left nice spots and fingers of lacing on the glass, the nose had aromas of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, light malt, faint herb-earth in the background, spice and grass hops, malt and bread like sweetness, the flavors were pumpkin spice (cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg), a touch of clove, pepper, a bit of toasted malt, rye and malt sweetness, the finish had hop bitterness with a spice bite, the spices added a medium bite to the finish, spice bite lingers with faint malt, the mouth feel was a light medium, it was creamy and had average carbonation, the nose and flavor were both pretty spicy, the hops and malt were in the background, if you prefer a lot of spice that overshadows the rest of the beer, than you will like this drink.

Darker but not real dark. Lighter maroon actually. Nice lacing with a mild spiced smell. yes, Pumpkin spice in this. Not sure if there is any pumpkin in there. Spice is taking over. Can taste the the IPA effect in there. Not impressed.
