Very balanced bitterness that is hoppy and fruity at the same time. An intense and rather complex beer.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured a dark amber colour with a thick head that left decent lacing. Aroma is malt with spicy yeast, pine, and citrus hops. Flavor is similar. Not too bitter as sweet citrus and pine are present in a warming alcoholic finish that lingers. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Good brew.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
The brewers don’t tell us on the label what they think a ’belgian-style’ IPA is, and honestly I don’t know it (yet). But then, when you drink your first sip, it becomes much clearer. This beer seems to be a mix of an IPA and a Tripel, or let’s say a ’symbiosis’. The combination works perfectly. The fruity bitter hop note of an IPA joins the hidden sweetness of a Tripel. The popcorn smell was right though. The bitter finish sticks to your palate long after the last sip. This - despite it’s alcohol percentage - medium bodied beer is truely a delight.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Whole Foods in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is pine, earthy hops, some yeast. Mostly getting IPA / hoppy on the tongue with more mild belgian yeasts coming through. Very nice effort.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Even though it’s called raging bitch. This brew is way better than your ex. Hops are dominate. Citrus, pine, floral. Malts are medium pale. Belgian yeast is evident. Pretty good balance with Belgian yeast, citrus, piney hops, medium sweet malt. You can get the nice spices from the Belgian yeast. yet the hops confirms you drinking an IPA style. I like it!

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle. Beautiful golden pour with a pillowy white head. Very tasty IPA with some interesting flavors from the belgian yeast though it is definitely more IPA than Belgian ale.

This is a really great IPA. Loads of how flavor, very smooth finish and is well balanced. A touch of sweetness. Very good.
