4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from bier-deluxe.de. Golden to amber body with creamy white head. Wow, wonderful nose of the characteristic nutty belgian yeast, malt, hop spicyness and citrus. Taste follows this seamlessly, the belgian yeast is very present from beginning to end, citrus and malts and a spicy, dry and bitter finish. The medium body has a great creamy texture. Great! If this is a belgian style IPA, I have to try more IPAs from Belgium, because this is better than any of these I tried so far!

Une IPA sympa, sans être fantastique, car manque de pétillant cependant elle tient bien en bouche et à une saveur sympathique

Belgian yeast and spice are evident and the hops blend in nicely without becoming overwhelming.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. draft at Plan B in Glastonbury, CT. Pour is a light amber with a tinge of orange, mostly transparent. Modest off white head, not much lacing. Smell is bready, with caramel, pineapple, some piney hops but not as much as you would expect from an 8%+ IPA. Taste is malt forward, sweet and a bit boozy with slight hop notes throughout and faint hop bitterness throughout. This one's different, more malt forward and low bitterness which let's the sweetness and tropical fruit notes shine. Mouthfeel is medium.

Pours really nice reddish brown with a 1.5 inch white head. Minimal hop smell. Can really smell the malts. Has a nice sweet malty flavor with a kick of hops. I like it. Will need to try some other Belgian IPAs.

12 oz bottle at Taco Mac- Suwanee. Clear copper pour ivory foamy head. Some lacing. Aroma of citrus, pine, and sweet malts. Nicely balanced. Citrus rinds, pine, caramel malts, with a spicy tingle. Lingering bitter pine tree finish. One of the better Flying Dogs I’ve had.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Yellow-brown, small white head. Clear. Aroma has banana and pineapple.
Taste starts off light, turns sour citrusy with aggressive hops in the middle. Carries on into a bitter sour hoppy aftertaste. Can't call this very pleasing but it definetly stands out in the IPA crowd.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear dark golden with a white head. Complex and interesting aroma of tropical fruits, citrus, banana, bubblegum, and ofcourse potent hops. It has a hoppy, medium bitter aftertaste. This is quite a lovely brew, its reputation is well-deserved.
