4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: JUL 21, 2012 There’s a lot going on with this beer. Initially I thought its high ABV would render it a tasting beer, and not a drinking one, but it is indeed a great drinking beer! Aroma is simple, slight citrus and prominent hops, with good carbonation. Taste is complex: sweet initial mouth feel, definite citrus flavor with ample hops. Lingering caramel finish. 8.1 ABV will put you away if you try to drink more than a few of these.

La flying dog raging bitch de barril es mucho mas sabrosa que la misma cerveza embotellada. Es una india pale ale (IPA) con alta graduacion y potente sabor

Eye: copper slighly foggy, great tan head, stable, lacing
Nose: fruits (citrusy, mango), pine, some bubblegum, no alcohol
Mouth: medium to full bodied, quite bitter (long finish), some slighly sour and wild notes here, medium carbo
Maybe more IPA than Belgian but still very drinkable and that’s an achievement for such gravity and bitterness.

Sweet fruity aroma no hops in aroma(!), bitterness and fruitiness are fighting so its almost possible to feel layers of taste. Bit like breeding zebra with pony-not sure this combination works.

Good IPA. Drunk in Glass in Paris, really a good place. To notice : good afrrtaste, initially it looks like it sinks and doesn't last long but actually it is quite bitter. Also, I don't see mug the Belgian part... Still a very good one!

Bronskleurig bier met oranje gloed. Aangenaam, fruitig aroma van appelsien, hop, citrus. Smaken van caramel, abrikoos en perzik, met een lekkere droge bittere en hoppige afdronk. Smaakt naar meer !!
