Commercial Description:
Brewed in the tradition of centuries old Scottish brewing methods, "Road" is reminiscent of a Porter. Road Dog is a rich, malty beer with hints of chocolate and licorice resulting from the use of four prized malts.

Bottle. Bishops Arms, Järntorget, Gothenburg. Dark brown colour. Toasted malt, light chocolate, a bit of peat, malt sweetness, light hoppiness. Light bodied. I usually like session porters, but this one is too weak for a six percent american porter.

Poured an almost black ruby red in the glass. Little head formed and the head that did form dissipated quickly. Aroma was of rich malt, and the initial flavor was of cola followed by malt with an aggressive carbonation. The mouthfeel was lighter than one would expect from a porter.
