Haslinger (640), Syracuse, New York, USA Mar 15, 2008 Dark brown pour with a rather thin creamy head that fades fast. Faint but good aroma. Seems pretty thin for a porter but the taste is a good thin coffee flavor. Would maybe buy again sometime djd07 (724), Houston, Texas, USA Mar 14, 2008 Bottle. Pours an amber color with a small off white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is a sweet malt with licorice and raisin. Decent lacing on the glass. The taste is a light malt with a sweet finish. Dont see this as a porter but still a decent brew from Flying Dog. hophead75 (1945), Boonton, New Jersey, USA Mar 12, 2008 12 oz bottle. Dark brown with ruby highlights and a medium tan head-appearance just about perfect for a porter. Aroma: chocolate, light hints of roast, crystal and caramel malts. Taste is lightly roasty with more chocolate, some caramel sweetness- medium body. Finishes lightly bitter. AskForJenny (627), Ontario, New York, USA Mar 7, 2008 12oz - Dark brown liquid, no head, nutty and woody nose, malt woody plate. Indistinguishable. DWestrick (235), Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA Mar 6, 2008 Bottle. Dark brown color - coffee and chocolate flavor - definitely malty doesn’t finish that great - extra points for having the word "shit" printed on the bottle
