Commercial Description:
Brewed in the tradition of centuries old Scottish brewing methods, "Road" is reminiscent of a Porter. Road Dog is a rich, malty beer with hints of chocolate and licorice resulting from the use of four prized malts.

By far the best of the entry level Flying dog. Sweet nose with a bit of smoke, clear brownish red hue and nice head. Malt with no hops semi sweet and viscus. Great scotch dry porter

The flavor is a bit boring - it has some burned malt flavor. The same with the aroma you can smell something burned.

Dark brown pour with a rather thin creamy head that fades fast. Faint but good aroma. Seems pretty thin for a porter but the taste is a good thin coffee flavor. Would maybe buy again sometime
