Mar 20, 2008 had 6pk bottle from bmo. this has always been a stand up porter. great chocolate malts and smooth peeks at caramel and peppery smooth finish, great beer for food pairing!

Mar 19, 2008 By far the best of the entry level Flying dog. Sweet nose with a bit of smoke, clear brownish red hue and nice head. Malt with no hops semi sweet and viscus. Great scotch dry porter

Mar 18, 2008 tried this some time ago as beer of the month. I have it locally and have found myself buying it again and again. good flavorful beer good blend of malts and hops.Better finish. I rate it a very good beer.

Mar 17, 2008 Bottle. Pours brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet and roasted with light notes of caramel and chocolate and some hops as well. Medium body. Flavor is similar to the aroma with a hint of smoke. Pretty good.

Mar 15, 2008 Dark brown pour with a rather thin creamy head that fades fast. Faint but good aroma. Seems pretty thin for a porter but the taste is a good thin coffee flavor. Would maybe buy again sometime
