Has an off-white head that disssipates quickly. Aroma has hints of caramel. Flavor is unusual for a porter....has a strong shot of roasted nuts in the finish. Coffee in the front end. I thought it coated the tongue well for a porter. Quyntarious (32), Ohio, USA

Fairly restrained aroma of murky coffee and touch of choc. Some dark fruits and some cheap end supermarket dark choc. Touch of smoke. But as I say, a very restrained porter, some ashtray towards the end. Drinkable, but restrained and a bit too much ashtray. 2.8/5.0 Re-rate Bottle at EBF 08. Blackberry and blackcurrant comes through. That’s a really good fruity porter, the blackcurrant really sings. Gorgeous. BeerHeadBobby (142), In Hiding.., Florida, USA

Beautiful dark brown with hints of red and a chocolate milk colored head with good retention. Dry malty flavor as opposed to the sweetness I am accustomed to. Not very heavy on the tongue and a little bit over-carbonated which is the only thing I can find wrong with this beer. Overall a fair Porter without the heaviness or sweetness that sets this style off for me. bsierra (213), Vista, California, USA
