Brewed in the tradition of centuries old Scottish brewing methods, "Road" is reminiscent of a Porter. Road Dog is a rich, malty beer with hints of chocolate and licorice resulting from the use of four prized malts.

Dark brown with a small tan head. Smells like malt, nut and maybe some coffee. Taste like coffee, malt and a smokey flavor.

Bottle from the mixed 12 pack. Poured a nice chocolate brown with a light head. Aroma hints of chocolate and a bit of licorice. Taste was very surprising, it rocked. Not since I had the K-9 Cruiser have I found a Flying Dog beer this good. Very pleasently surprised by this one.

This beer poured a nice dark color and had a great head to it. There was nice smells of chocolate malt and sweet hops. I was really pleased with the initial flavor since it left a nice impression on your palate.

This beer had a sweet, malty aroma. It poured a clearer, rich brown for a porter, certainly not opaque. You could taste a bit of the sweetness of the chocolate as described as well.

this is not my favorite porter but it’s very good, it’s a burger beer for the fall. Enjoyable
