Sep 20, 2008 Bottle. Poured a dark brown color with a thin tan head. Aroma of roasted malt and bitter chocolate. Flavor reflects the aroma. Slightly too thin for a porter.

Jul 30, 2008 Poured fom bottle a clear dark brown with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma is light with sweet malt and just a touch of burnt coffee. Flavor is malty sweet with a little bitter chocolate, burnt roasted grains and coffee. The palate has some malty smoothness to it and a mild bittering with a little hop flavor coming out at the very end. Overall, decent beer, maybe a bit thin in body and slightly too charred, but Iwould drink another, no doubt.

Dec 21, 2008 A clear dark brown colored beer, with a thick beige foamed head. The aroma of dark fruits like prune and cherry, dark mals. The taste is dry bitter, smoked malt with fruits like cherries. It is a little bit thin. The after tast is a little bitter.
