| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 30, 2008 Poured fom bottle a clear dark brown with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma is light with sweet malt and just a touch of burnt coffee. Flavor is malty sweet with a little bitter chocolate, burnt roasted grains and coffee. The palate has some malty smoothness to it and a mild bittering with a little hop flavor coming out at the very end. Overall, decent beer, maybe a bit thin in body and slightly too charred, but Iwould drink another, no doubt. Ober (1242), Bommelerwaard, Netherlands

Dark brown color - coffee and chocolate flavor - definitely malty doesn’t finish that great - extra points for having the word "shit" printed on the bottle ericandersnavy (1150), crossroads, Texas, USA
