Bottle. Clear Amber color with a thin foam. Very nice floral hop aroma with some citrus notes on it. Flavor is bitter with herbal notes, amazing one. Mouthfeel is long and bitter, pretty nice..

351 mL bottle. Another one I’ve somehow managed to miss rating over the years. Not exactly a balanced beer (not that it’s supposed to be.) It is definitely hop-forward, but they’ve done a nice job of creating a big hop aroma and flavour (mostly citrus) without it becoming overwhelming. Solid beer.

Poured from 12oz bottle, pours a nice clear amber color with thick white head, has a great hoppy aroma and taste is fairly balanced, pretty good.

Bottle. Pours an orange color with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is quite hoppy with citrus and pine aromas, along with some sweet maltiness and some toffee. The flavor is quite nice balanced between bitterness and malty sweetness, with flavors of grapefruit, ctirus, slight amount of pine in the aftertaste, some sweet and bready malts and some toffee. Body is medium and fairly dry, as your standard IPA. Overall a pretty good IPA from Flying Dog!

Nice IPA. Much better than I expected. Bold hops flavor but not overpowering and unbalanced. Serving: Bottle

Bottle. Pours with light white head. Aroma is really nothing to write home about. Sort of an off smell. Taste is smooth. A nice hop background that isn’t overbearing. A decent mellow IPA

Smells of citrus and hops. Taste is a bit fruity with a very bitter aftertaste. Cool bottle label

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2011 From the bottle. This beer surpassed my expectations. There is a big hop presence all throughout this beer in the smell, taste and finish. Pine also comes to the forefront towards the end. This has a nice bitterness but still is balanced enough to make it easy to drink.

355ml bottle. Pours a hazy orange with a small, frothy head. Aroma is hops, tangerine and a little caramel as well. Quite balanced, caramel and piney to start, with a citrus, hoppy medium/strong bitter finish. Nice and full in the mouth.

on tap at pap 5/13/10. coppery and clear with a soft white head. it smells a lot like spicy canned peaches... combined with orange, grapefruit pith, light pine and caramel. the palate is a little sweeter than i typically enjoy in an ipa. it is malty mixed with all of the characteristics of the aroma and a dry spicy bitterness on the finish. it is medium bodied... tingly though a bit sticky. 6/4/6/3/14/3.3
