2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A golden brown beer with a small head. The aroma is sweet & the taste is sweet, with some pine & fruit. Too sweet- which makes me wonder how fresh this bottle is as IPA’s lose the hoppiness & get sweeter as they get older.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle, thank you si much Allen! Resiny, pine and apricot hop notes. Pretty amber, low lacing head. Sticky resiny hopjuice entrance, spongy honeyish background. Not much body after the initial sticky subsides.
Kumquat finish and aftertaste.
Nice with a brutaly hoppy beer again, but I am starting to realize that I really prefer the more balanced brews.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Poured an orange-amber color with a small, creamy looking head. Smells of the NW with a lot of fruit and citrus in the nose. Some light caramel and flowers. Flavors was bit more balanced, even to being a built malt forward. Caramel malt initially which fades to a citrus and earthy bitterness. A pretty average IPA for me.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
[bottle] I love the hoppy aroma of this IPA. All together a very decent IPA, probably one of the best I have had. Palate is kind of oily, and the beer just slides down your throat.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at Hashigo Zake. Pours deep amber, fluffy off white head. Strong American hop aroma - grapefruit, grass and a bit peppery. Caramel nalt barely sneaks in.
Initially some grapefruit flavour, then light light bitterness. Caramel malt shows prominintley, but hops are always in background.
Bitterness accumulates at the back of the palate.
This bottle is a bit old and travelled, would have been much better fresh.
