More cunning than a snake in the bush...Snake Dog India Pale Ale is a Colorado-style IPA, power hopped with specialty hops from the Pacific Northwest. This is the brewery’s hop monster, and the citrus fruit aroma will hypnotize the senses of the most hardcore of craft drinkers. 15 Plato, 60 IBU, Crystal Malt, Warrior and Columbus hops, and dry hopped with Columbus.

Pours a shimmering amber with a frothy off-white head. Smells of oranges, pineapple, the ocean, burnt plastic. Has a sour bitterness to the flavor that seems to grab the taste buds and twist, ... sap and dirt. A more aggressive IPA than I prefer (not in terms of the amount of hops, but the type). It almost burns a little. Perhaps even a little mushroom?

Bottle from the great Csak A Jo Sör, Budapest, shared with ogivlado. Poured a murky orange-gold body with a slightly off white head. Sweet malty orangey nose, nice aroma hops. Light aromatic hoppy taste with distinct bitterness, orange again. Not all that much body and maltiness but very, very nice hopinesss that pulls it through. Very drinkable!

Quite impressed with this beer. It pours up with a nice fine foam and is quite effervescent. The taste is fairly smooth with a nice soft bite at the end. It’s not too strong like lots of IPA’s tend to be.

Pours clear amber colour, nice looking white head that dissappears quickly. Smell is of hops and some malty sweetness. Tastes absolutely brilliant, great balance of light sweet maltyness and very strong aromatic hops. This is exactly what an IPA should be about!

Excellent IPA though a little one sided. Bis resinous hops and out does Matilda Bay APA by miles in all areas. Still an awsome IPA.

0,33 cl bottle from Alko. Hazy amber colour with white head. Nice fruity hoppy aroma and taste with a good maltiness also. Medium body and a pleasant oily moutheel. Well balanced beer.

Tap at Hop Devil. Poured a dark amber with a thin off white head. Nose is nice piny hops. Flavor is well balanced and very drinkable. It’s got some bitterness to it and the hops are not overpowering. A fairly smooth drinker with a nice bitter kick. Every beer doesn’t have to be over the top does it? And the abv is very well hidden.
